It was in the 1800s, that the Australian Museum was ranked as one of the five top natural history museums in the world. The museum has lived up to that reputation with extensive exhibitions covering the world of the Aborigines from the past to the present. As well as covering the history of Australia Indigenous People, the museum also has exhibits about Australia's social history and cultural heritage.

The Australian Museum is a great place to discover about the lives of giant dinosaurs that once inhabit the Australian continent. Combined with a huge collection of native birds, butterflies and other insects, it is easily the most impressive museum in Sydney.
