Location: Wenworth Road, Vaucluse

Located within a beautifully designed garden close to Sydney Harbour is the Gothic style mansion that is the Vaucluse House. It was built in 1803 and was home to William Wentworth who was the father of the Australian Constitution(1901). The Wentworth family stayed in that house from 1829-1853.

The house is carefully maintained throughout the year and the gardens are accurately restored. Visitors should not miss the Vaucluse Tearooms or a stroll down the Harbour's edge at Nielson Park.
