It was built in 1803 and was home to William Wentworth who was the father of the Australian Constitution(1901). The Wentworth family stayed in that house from 1829-1853. The house is carefully maintained throughout the year and the gardens are accurately restored. Visitors should not miss the Vaucluse Tearooms or a stroll down the Harbour's edge at Nielson Park.
